Meet the Founder

About Bethan Boyeson

Hi, I’m Beth, founder of Headstrong Rehabilitation. My first degree was in Psychology, and I worked in several different companies throughout my twenties and early thirties. I eventually found myself in the fitness industry, passionate about helping people achieve their goals while wanting to deepen my expertise. In 2018, I embarked on a new career in Physiotherapy.

I specialise in treating patients with a wide range of conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and progressive neurological conditions. I also work with individuals experiencing general mobility difficulties following surgery or illness. My experience spans inpatient rehabilitation and community care — where I believe meaningful rehabilitation happens most effectively, in our own environment.

I provide specialist treatment for challenges related to reduced strength, mobility and gait, balance, sensation and proprioception, pain, spasticity, and movement disorders.

Approach to Rehabilitation

I focus on specific, person-centred goals and review these regularly throughout each individual’s rehabilitation to ensure meaningful progress. My background in Psychology, combined with fitness qualifications, helps me understand how to motivate and work effectively with different individuals. I take a holistic therapeutic approach at all times, addressing both physical and cognitive aspects of recovery.

Outside of Work

Between physio sessions, you’ll find me out running with my little Cockapoo, Rocco, or watching my children play football and tennis!
